After more than a decade of work, we are proud to offer our La Tradición Mariachi Student Classical Guitar. We've listened to input from teachers all over the country, and have designed an instrument specifically for school programs with longevity in mind. We want schools to purchase new instruments because the program is growing, not because broken instruments need replaced.
Our La Tradición LTG-C50 student guitars come standard with features that make them stand apart from our competitors:
- 12 Hole Bridge Design
Especially useful for guitars that require a low saddle height, this allows strings to have a sharper break angle on the saddle so that the instrument has a more consistent and predictable string angle from string to string, and helps the saddle to transfer the strings' vibrations to the top for resonance. - 2-way Adjustable Truss Rod
With school instruments not always being kept in a climate controlled room during school breaks, we wanted to ensure that if an instrument became slightly warped from temperature fluctuation would be easy to adjust. Now instead of costly repairs or even replacing a bowed instrument, it can be adjusted to play back at performance capacity. - Custom Pickguard/Mica
Designed with students in mind, these guitars are great for classical, flamenco, and mariachi music- and therefore can accommodate all gauges and differing thicknesses of picks or strumming strengths. - Bone Nut and Saddle
Most entry level guitars are made out of cheap materials, and they sound that way. By ensuring these guitars have a bone nut and saddle, not plastic or acrylic composite, the saddle not only is more resistant to wear and tear and the instrument but gives better sustain. - Deluxe Padded Gig-bag
A sturdy gig-bag with a thick Velcro strap to attach the neck to a foam insert, this bag comes with a backpack harness to keep hands free and two front pouches: a larger one for music books, and a smaller one for any picks, strings, or tuners that a player might need. - Inlayed Wooden Rosette
We know it's the little things that can make a big difference, so these instruments have a beautiful wooden rosette instead of a self-adhesive stick-on rosette decal.
